Double Shelf Niche
  • Overall size 15w x 22.75h x 3,75d​

  • Recesses into 2x4 wall​

  • Rough opening 14 wide x 21.75 high x 3 1/2 deep

Installation Instructions:

The Shower Niche will fit in the normal space between studs. It is recommended to add top and bottom sill and header above and below the niche leaving an opening of 14" wide by 21 3/4" high.

Bottom sill is typically about 48" above floor.

Once the finished panels are on the wall and the opening cut, clean the back of the flange and the panel with denatured alcohol. 

Apply about a 3/16 bead of silicone sealant around all edges of the niche. 

Apply 2 dabs of hot melt adhesive on each flange inside the silicone bead.

Quickly insert the nice into the opening and press firmly against wall to spread the adhesive. 

Hold in place until hot melt cools.

Clean excess sealant from perimeter and then wipe with denatured alcohol.
